Fever

Mummy: Was chatting with Eileen over msn when suddenly Teacher Wu called. She said Chloe is running a fever, 38.7 deg. As I was feeding Schuyler, I told Teacher Wu I will come over and fetch Chloe shortly. I rushed to the Chloe, partly because I'm worried, another reason is the sky is getting dark, going to rain again. When I reached the childcare, she broke into tears and kept calling me. She's ok on the way back home. Normally I will give in to her requests when she's sick. I was worried that she wanted me to carry her but it's very hard for me to carry her since I had to push the pram. Anyway she din ask me to carry her *phew*.

Reached home I took her temperature, it's 38.5 deg. I feed her with paracetamol and continue to monitor her temperature every hour. She seems normal, still her normal self. Before she slept I took her temperature again and it's 37.5 deg. Hopefully her temperature won't shoot up in the middle of the night/tomorrow.

Handphone

Mummy: Chloe asked me if her hp is at the side table ("My phone there? [Pointing to the side table]"). I was wondering I asked her to sleep, why she will think of her hp. I found out it's because every night before I sleep I will bring my hp along and place it beside me so I can set alarm using my hp. So Chloe is trying to copy me.. hahaha... but too bad her hp can't set alarm cos it's a toy.. :P

Fringe

Mummy: Try to trim Chloe's fringe, though I managed to trim, the length is uneven one!! Haha so ugly! Oppss, tomorrow she's having class photo taking. Chloe won't let me further trim/touchup. I try to coax her by saying I let her eat ice-cream if she let me trim. She said ok but when I want to trim she backout again. Asked her want to eat ice-cream anot, then she said don't want. This gal is getting more and more stubborn now. ARghhh!

Smelling

Mummy: Went to fetch Chloe and her teacher told me sometimes when Chloe and her classmates shorts got mixed up, Chloe will know how to identify her shorts by smelling. The shorts were actually labeled with their initials at the brand/washing instructions tag, so teachers had no problem in telling. After Chloe tried to identify her shorts and saw this particular shorts belongs to her, the teachers doubled checked at the tag and it's really her shorts! They thought it might be a concidence but the next subsquent times Chloe still managed to identify her shorts. So they said her nose is very good at smelling.

p/s: I think she recongise by the detergent smell. :P

Chloe in Raincoat

Mummy: Today finally had the chance to let Chloe wear raincoat as it's raining. I had to convince her by saying she won't need umbrella after wearing raincoat first. I told her the raincoat had a "hat" to cover her head so her head won't be wet even without umbrella. She's very happy on the way to school and even show off her raincoat to her teacher.
p/s: I realised Chloe love to show off alot. :P

Stubborn Chloe

Mummy: Chloe has the habit of sleeping late. She will only sleep around 10:30pm to 11:15pm. I hope that she can cutivate the habit of sleeping early, at least she won't have problem waking up in the morning. While I'm trying to make her sleep today, I scolded her and asked her to sleep. She kicked me and I beat her leg gently. She continued to kick me and I beat her again. She did it consecutively for 8 times, and I beat her 8 times. She's still stubborn and refused to give in. End up hubby step into the room then she become "yan-oh", started to cry louder. Hubby got to coax her and pat her to sleep as she don't want me.

Chloe is getting more and more stubborn + "ti-ki" these days. If I tell her she can't do that, she will purposely do it. Her speech is more clear now and during her self play time, I can hear her singing (though I still can't make out what songs occasionally).

Two new jackets

Mummy: Bought Chloe two new jackets. In fact I like another pink coat. Chloe looks super cute cum business girl in it. But it costs $79.90!!! Far too expensive mann! Bought this pink jacket, it's suppose to wear fit tight, but no point as Chloe will outgrown of it soon, so we bought a bigger size, and the biggest acceptable size for her that we bought end up is meant for 6 to 7yrs old one.

And hubby wanted to get this boy jacket jogger suit for Chloe, cos next time can pass down to Schuyler.

I try my best to get unisex clothings for Chloe but it's so hard. Girls' clothings need to be girly so that it's nice and sweet. :P

Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe

Had supper @ Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe today. Took some pixs with Riko & Xayrel.

Time to change new bag

Mummy: Time to change new bag for Chloe, there's so many black spots (Hei-Ban) on her bag. I know most of the spots are contributed by me and hubby, cos we always sweat when we carry her bag :P The bag has been used for almost 1yr, bought it at $14.90, so one year change once I think still alright.

New Haircut, new slippers

Mummy: Brought Chloe to EC-House for haircut, decided to try out and cut her fringe. Ohmy gosh, her face looked so chubby in this pix.

Finally bought Chloe a pair of slippers. As usual, she refused to try it on until I managed to coax her by telling her without slippers she can't go to the beach next time. And finally she agreed to try so I can buy for her. I told Chloe I wanted to take a pix of her wearing the new slippers, so she posed for me.
Wanted to take some more pixs of her new hairstyle but she refused, running around to hide away from the camera.

East Coast Park

Mummy: Planned to go Sentosa with Desmond & family but as usual by the time Desmond & family prepared and get ready to leave, it's already 5:15pm. So we went to East Coast Park instead. Always wanted to get Chloe a set of beach toys but was thinking we don't have much chances to go beach so didn't buy. Desmond brought along 1 set of beach toys and the 4 kids shared and play with it. And Chloe also don't have slippers, so we asked her to took off her shoes while she's at the beach. It would be easier if she has slippers.

Chloe enjoyed herself very much playing with the sand. Earlier on she tried to play with water at the beach area but when the waves approached her, her feet immersed into the sand and she got scared, unbalance and fell down. So she only dare to dare with the sand, not the seawater.

I tried to do scrapping via scrapblog. Did 1 page to try out for fun.

There's someone playing with wind surfing but it's the first time I see with my own eyes. Pardon me for the sua-ku-ness.

It's high tide so we quickly keep our things and let the kids clean up and change their clothings. After changing clothings, they played "London Bridge". And I asked them to give me a pose.

ExplorerKids

Mummy: As hubby was working yesterday, he was entitled to an off day today. So we decided to fetch Chloe from school earlier (1pm) after her lessons and bring her to Downtown East. Chloe already went to ExplorerKids before with her school, so that place it's nothing new to her, but something new to me. :P

After lunch, on the way to ExplorerKids, the kids saw this "pond" with fishes and stopped by to have a look.

Climbing and walking thru the maze:

I'm too lazy to climb through all the maze with Chloe, so I ask hubby to follow her while I take care of Schuyler. But end up hubby can't catchup with Chloe cos there's too many kids and hubby said it's not possible for him to ask the kids to make way for him as they are pushing their way through. After a day of fun, knee caps were red. The knee cap looks like I have applied lip gloss to it cos I applied the Zam-Buk ointment to it.

National Day Eve

It's National Day eve and Chloe can wear home clothes to school. Chloe wanted to wear a dress to school but the last time she already worn that dress to school so I thought of letting her to wear something else. I let her wear a white top with a floral skirt. When Chloe reached school, she was greeted by Teacher Imah and Chloe quickly show off to Teacher Imah by saying, "Teacher, I wear dress." She thought dress and skirt are the using the same term "dress". :P

SIGH?

Mummy: Was on the way home after dinner and hb felt tired and let out a sigh. Chloe asked, "Daddy, why you sigh?" Me and hb give Chloe a shocking look as we never expect her to know what is sigh and she will ask such a question.

GAP top & bottom

Mummy: Bought a tank top & pants for Chloe. There's less 50% so I only paid $9.50 for the top and $22.50 for the bottom. I bought size 4 (4yrs old) for both. For the top, I let her try size 3 and it fits just nice, so I bought size 4 for her. As for the bottom, it's actually meant to be capris (3/4pants) but I bought bigger size so she can wear as long pants then slowly convert it to 3/4pants or even bermudas. Anyway the waist band is elastic and adjustable so I think should be able to last longer :P

Wanted to get another design, butterfly one for her but she wanted this cos she said got ABC. :|

Zoo Trip

Mummy: I can see that Chloe is very happy when I told her that we are going to the zoo today. On the way to zoo, she's very tired but don't dare to take nap, too excited also I guess. I told her she can set her mind to take her nap, I will wake her up when we reach. After we parked our car, I woke her up and she immediately woke up and said she want to get down from the car. We started our zoo venture with Ben & Jerry's Sorbet. So shiok to have that for such a hot weather.

Hmm.. the last time we went to zoo was last year. I remembered Chloe refused to walk and want us to carry her. This time it's better, she's willing to walk but still pester us to carry her which I guess it's because she felt tired. She can recongise and name me the animals like "elephant, giraffe, crocodile, flamingo, monkey, polar bear, hippo, tiger, lion, fish, tortorise, horse, penguin'' etc. She called orang utan as monkey.

I tried to take pixs together with Chloe but she refused, don't know why she refused. :( Only managed to take a pix of her and hubby at the beginning.


Riko & Cassadel brought notebook and pen along to dot down all the animal names that they seen. Chloe wanted to do the same thing but I asked her if she knows how to write, she replied me, "I don't know." I told her when she knows how to write I will let her bring along a notebook and pen when we visit the zoo again.

Needless to say, Chloe enjoyed herself very much and at night before she slept, she said to me, "Tomorrow go zoo ok?". I told her we will bring her to the zoo again, but it won't be that soon.

Mummy: I brought Chloe along into the bathroom during my shower so that hubby can cope with Schuyler alone. When I closed the door of my shower area, Chloe said "Byebye mama, 加油!". I paused and wonder why shower also need to 加油. Make no sense at all, I think she don't understand the meaning of 加油. :P She learnt these words from a variety show that we watched almost everyday. After I finished my shower and wanted to put on my clothings, Chloe made a comment, "Mama stomach so big". So sad!

Cry until vomit

Mummy: Teacher Wu told me that this morning Huai-En was sitting at Chloe's favourite seat. And Chloe tried to snatch back the seat and got scolded by Teacher Wu. Chloe cried until vomit. Teacher Wu said she wanted Chloe to know that she can't snatch the seat from Huai-En, she should just take another seat. After vomitting, Teacher Wu asked Chloe if she still want to cry, Chloe said no and after that she stopped crying.

Best friends

Mummy: Brought Chloe to the playground together with Rachel yesterday. Today, Rachel's maid reached slightly earlier than me and left before me. When Chloe managed to put on her socks and shoes, she realised Rachel has already walked off without waiting for her. She panicked and asked me where is Rachel, and started to cry. I told her Rachel is just ahead of us, asked her to walk faster to catchup with Rachel. She finally saw Rachel's backview and quickly tried her best to catchup with Rachel. I saw a car coming and quickly told Chloe to stop chasing. Chloe stopped chasing but was still crying as she feel that she can't catch up with Rachel. I told her to shout Rachel's name. End up Rachel's maid stopped by to chat with another maid and Chloe managed to catchup with Rachel. When Rachel's maid saw Chloe crying, she asked her what happened, I told the maid Chloe wanted to walk together with Rachel and go playground together. And after that they went to playground and had some fun together.

Seems like Chloe's and Rachel's friendship is quite close. Not sure I should call that friendship or what, since they are still so young, don't know what is friendship.
