It's a sunday...

I woke up to find Daddy not around. Almost every morning I will ask Mummy the same question, "Daddy, daddy, daddy where?" Mummy replied saying Daddy is working today so we can't go out and gai gai. But at least Mummy is around to accompany me. Later at night when Daddy reached home, we went to Hougang Mall for dinner. Mummy said I'm having fever/having abit feverish before we went out but after that my temperature is back to normal.

Toilet Training @ Home (Part 4)

Mummy: Hubby is working today so I can work on toilet training for Chloe. Toilet training is quite smooth and success for today. I tink she pee a total of 6 times and more than 1/2 she took the initiative to inform me that she need to pee. At around 3pm I asked if she's tired cos her nap time at childcare was 1pm onwards and she finally told me she's tired. I don't wish that she pee on her bed so I told her when she's sleeping I have to put on diapers for her. She's ok with it and let me put on the diaper for her. Drank a bottle of milk and took her about 10mins before she finally dozed off.... As I won't want to waste the diaper that I put on for her earlier on, I din ask her to take off her diaper when she woke up.

After today's training, I feel that somehow Chloe has this concept whereby if she don't put on diapers she will have to inform me that she need to pee, if she has her diapers on then she won't have to inform me.

Handbag from Aunty Dawne

Aunty Dawne bought me a handbag. It's a polka dot pink colour handbag. Mummy said the handbag is too matured for me, but Aunty Dawne said can keep till I grow older.


Mummy showed me the handbag and immediately I sling the bag across my shoulder and pose. Mummy find it amazed that I can actually think of this method to carry the bag.

Mini Kitchen

Mummy: Today we bought a set of mini kitchen for Chloe. Though it's much smaller in size and not as good as the Chicco set but we don't want to spend too much on a kitchen set for her, as hubby always said only gals play with kitchen stuffs, boys don't play. :|

This kitchen set needs battery to operate as it comes with some lights and sound for the stove. In additional, the oven will light up when you open it.

No Toilet Training today

No toilet training for today as we are planning to go out.

Crayola (Part 2)

Mummy: It's pretty amazing as the colours as are invisible and they only appear when you colour them on the Crayon special paper. The colours are in the the form of wax kind so you only need to gently dip your finger into the wax and rub it onto the Crayon paper. Chloe first attempt to colour the paper, she really dip (or I should say dig) her finger into the colour. It's very wasteful but after I told her not to do so she managed to touch gently onto the colours.

Chloe enjoyed herself very much and always ask me to let her play with the colouring.
After the colouring session I washed my hands with soap but my fingers still will feel slightly oily cos I tink the colours are oil-based.

Toilet Training @ Home (Part 3)

Mummy: Toilet training for today is a failure. Brought Chloe to toilet for 3 times when she told me she wanna pee but she din pee at all. I think she did fart cos I can smell something unpleasant. :P Then I was doing housework at the kitchen and suddenly heard her "wanna poo noise" so I quickly walked to the living room and asked her if she wanna poo. She nod her head and I quickly bring the potty to the living room. It's only when I took off her underwear and pants then I realised she pee on the floor just now without telling me! I didn't scold her, as I know it's part of the training I had to go through with her. I asked her how come she didn't tell me, she should tell me she wanna pee just now. After she poo I showered her and put on diapers for her though I know she's not sleeping yet.

Crayola

Mummy: Meetup with Dawne for lunch and went robinsons, wanted to get panties for her. I saw a set of Care Bears panties, 7pc, Monday to Sunday. So cute but no more size. End up I bought some crayola stuffs for Chloe. I'm sure Chloe will like it very much.

Toilet Training @ Home (Part 2)

Mummy: Hubby put on Hello kitty panties for Chloe and she loved it. She didn't ask for diapers. As it's the official first time we started toilet training, we make sure she don't sit/lie on sofa/bed in case she pee. We checked with her every 5mins to see if she wanna pee anot. I wonder if she's fed up with me and hubby anot.. :P

I would say tonight the training was a success cos she din went her panties and went to pee 2 times. Hope the next few days will be the same. But I really need to get somemore panties for her, 3 piece is a too little number to start with.

Toilet Training @ Home

Mummy: Chloe has already started toilet training at the childcare, but not at home. Whenever I asked her if she wanna pee, she will reject me by saying, "NO!" and refused to sit on the potty or step into the toilet. But if she wanna poo, depending on her mood, she will tell me she wanna poo or I got to observe the look on her face.

I bought 3 Hello Kitty panties for her and finally decided to start toilet training tomorrow as I forgot to wash the panties.

Hello Mama?

Mummy: Planned to leave office on the dot as I scared Chloe will be waiting for me again. But end up I din manage to leave on dot. Luckily hubby brought her to the playground to play for 15 to 30mins, so that by that time I should be home by then. At around 7.45pm, hubby called me, I thought he wanted to tell me that Chloe is crying for me again. But instead, he told me Chloe ask him to call me cos she wanna talk to me. She said, "Hello mama?". And mumbled a few sentence which I can't figure out. I asked her if she wants to eat rice, I will tabao rice back home. She replied me, "Want. Byebye." And she passed the phone back to hubby.

I find it so sweet of her, ask hubby to call me. It melts my heart. :)

Bubble Play

I had a round of bubble play today. I must say I enjoyed myself alot. While Mummy is playing bubbles with me, Daddy went out to tabao lunch. I always have this bad habit of tilting the saucer so end up the bubble solution flow out from the saucer. Mummy scolded me for wasting the bubble solution.

It's A Rainy Evening

Mummy: The sky isn't looking good. I brought a big umbrella, small umbrella and raincoat along. Just bought the raincoat from Kiddy Palace and had yet to use it.


When I reach childcare, Chloe was busy eating macaroni and din even bother that I'm fetching her home. Normally she will get excited and jump here and there. So I got to wait for her to finish her macaroni then bring her home. I asked if she want to wear raincoat, she said yes. I wear for her and let her take the umbrella. Half way the journey, she wanted to take off the raincoat, and don't want to take the umbrella too. I was very angry and shouted at her. She cried but I got no choice. She asked me to carry her but I really can't carry her with her bag and the umbrellas with me. I got to tell her that her friend, Rachel also wear raincoat and walked home, luckily that managed to coax her abit and walk all the way home.

"Room" Alone

Mummy: Started to train Chloe to sleep alone in her room since Sunday night. Luckily she din really make alot of noise and is willing to cooperate to sleep in the room. For the first night, she woke up 3 times crying. I think she wasn't used to sleeping alone. But the subsequent nights she woke up like 2 times with a faint cry and got back to sleep, or called me for milk.

We are still thinking whether to get her the bed from ikea as it will costs around $300 (bed, 2 sets of bedsheets, mattress) and a set of tables with chairs. And maybe some decors to decorate her room but budget is pretty tight as the second one is coming up. Or maybe wait till the second one is out then we decide. See how then.

3 New Wooden Puzzles

Aunty Dawne told Mummy that ToysRUs having promotion on the wooden puzzle so today we went to Suntec ToysRUs today. Since the promotion is buy 2 get 3rd free, Mummy bought 3 wooden puzzles for me. Initially Mummy didin't want to get the alphabet puzzle cos I already had an alphabet puzzle at home. But I insisted and she got no choice got to give in to me (YEAH!).
