Visit to doctor

Mummy: Chloe is still running slight fever so I decided to take urgent leave to bring her see doctor. Quickly brought Schuyler to school and head our way to the clinic. We are at queue no. 6 so need to wait for about an hour or so. Doctor wanted to weigh Chloe and let out a "woah" when she saw Chloe's weight. She's weighing 17.4kg, based on the growth chart, 17.4kg is around 4.75 yrs old.

Doctor said based on her weight, she can take up to 5ml of medication. Doctor gave Chloe 2 days of MC and 6 types of medication. I was shocked to see that.
6 types of medication:
1. Mild Fever
2. High Fever
3. Phlegm
4. Cough
5. Running Nose
6. Anti-biotics

When we reached home, Chloe said Daddy not at home. She went into the room and looked for Schuyler and asked me where is didi. I was like huh? Thought we brought didi to school earlier on? She paused then she said, then only we 2 girls at home? I hope it's not the fever which is making her blur.

I fed her with medication and she vomited 2 times, 1 on my sofa and 1 in the toilet. She cannot stand the taste of the cough syrup and antibiotics.

Still down with fever

Mummy: Fever is gone when Chloe woke up on Sunday morning. We still feed with paracetamol just in case the fever comes back. Till 4pm, the fever came back. Though we fed her with paracetamol, the fever is still there. I just took the temperature for her and it's 39.2deg. And not only fever, she's also having flu and cough. I think most likely I will be taking urgent leave today as I don't think her fever will go off that soon.

Down with Fever

Mummy: Chloe is down with fever today. I tried to recall hard and based on the medicine, the last time she fell sick is last year May, just before Schuyler is popped out. I would say that Chloe's immune system is much better than Schuyler. I am not sure what caused her to have fever. Is it the weather? Or she had too much of heaty stuffs? Or is it something else?

We still brought her out despite that she had fever. Because we only found out that she's down with fever when we are about to step out of the house. So I told her it's going to be a short outing, will bring her for dinner and then have her haircut only.

Basically she's seems very normal and still very active. Nevertheless, I will still need to monitor her and if it got worse, I will have to bring her see doctor tomorrow.

Meow's Jie Jie Birthday

Mummy: I told Chloe that it's Meow jie jie birthday today and asked if she wants to make a card for her. She said she want, so I helped her with it. I forgot to take the photos of the card. :P Anyway she drew 2 "skeleton" girls, one with a tooth, one without tooth (the one with tooth she claims that it's meow jie jie). I taught her to indicate her name and Meow's name on the 2 girls, and inside the card she wrote Happy Birthday with my help. I read out the alphabets of "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" to her.

And of course, she is eager to "show off" her work to Meow but yet shy. So I'm the one who passed the card to Meow.

Kids...

Mummy: I was having my shower and I missed a joke. Apparently, hubby was playing with Chloe and he said he is coming to catch her. Chloe quickly opened up the foldable mattress and rolled herself into the mattress. Well, it's so obvious that she's hiding inside the mattress but hubby pretend he didn't see and asked, "Where is Chloe??". Chloe replied, "I'm not hiding inside the mattress." Hahaa.. kids.. they tried to lie, but their lie end up to be the truth.
