Mummy: I wonder what happen to Chloe, for these 3 consecutive nights, she has been crying and said want to sleep on my bed. But she's just sleeping next to my bed. Perhaps she's having nightmares??

Daddy & Mummy brought me to take photo for my passport. They said I have grown up, looks have changed so it's better to change the photo for my passport in case the customs people don't allow me to step into malaysia.

Passport photo taken in yr 2005:

How different do I looked? Less chubby? More hair???

Mummy: Bought a new bag for Chloe, she choose this design on her own. "I want princess bag," Chloe said. Wanted to get her Carebears backpack but she don't want. It's quite hard to get an ideal backpack for her. Cannot too big, if not it will be too big for Chloe to carry. Cannot too small, not enough space for her to put her belongings. Till now, I still can't find the right size.
--------------------oOo--------------------
Mummy: Chloe was playing with hubby and she told hubby that she want to buy a cake for my birthday. I went to ask her about it and asked her where she get the money from? Then she showed me the coins she had. Where did the coins came from? From hubby who always left his coins abit here abit there.
--------------------oOo--------------------
Mummy: We were asked to contribute some snacks and tidbits for the Children's Day celebration. I bought 2 packs of bear biscuits, chocolate and cheese flavor. I think the kids would love this day as there are lots of food and gifts! Teacher Yisha told me that Chloe has 4 goodies bags from the 4 teachers. But when I got home, I only saw 2 goodies bags. Maybe the 2 other goodies bags are all food and Chloe has eaten them when she's at school. The post office savings box is given by the childcare management.

Mummy: It was around 12am+ and I heard Chloe said something. I thought she woke up, I woke up and took at look at her, her eyes were still closed. She must be dreaming, dreaming of Doraemon cos she said, "小叮当".
--------------------oOo--------------------
Mummy: This is my first time seeing Chloe writing a 3 letter "word".
--------------------oOo--------------------
Mummy: Chloe showed off her 1st prize to me, and wanted to open. I told her we can only open once we reach home. She quickly told me she want to open up and eat when we reached home. But I don't think it's edible.

It's just a Hello Kitty pencil case. :P Chloe kept saying she want to eat, she was expecting some food I guess.
The lantern gave way as expected. Saw some scotch tape on the lantern. Teacher Imah did mentioned before that they will be bringing the kids with their lantern to go for a walk at the park. I think the lantern gave way when they had their walk.
--------------------oOo--------------------
Mummy: Chloe love wearing her Barney slippers. She want to wear it to downstairs, to school and go out. But I told her she can't wear slippers to school, she had to wear her hello kitty shoes with socks and uniform. These 2 Saturdays I have been sending Chloe to school cos I felt tired and wanted a rest. As she no need to wear uniform to school on Saturday, I let her wear her slippers to school.
Today the school is celebrating Mooncake Festival and they are alllowed to wear home/party clothes. So the first thing that came to Chloe's mind was... she can wear slippers to school!!! She was very happy and quickly put on her slippers after I finish changing her clothes and tied up her hair. As Daddy know that I'm late for work (again), he suggest to Chloe that they will go to school without me. I know Chloe won't want, since she's so sticky to me. But to my surprise she agreed cos she wants to wear her slippers and rush to school. This is really the first time I see her so eager to go school :P

*** APPLAUSE ***

Yes, we won the first prize!!! I saw Chloe's lantern hanging up at the reception area but didn't notice there's a pink paper labeled "1st Prize" until Teacher Imah told me. Chloe cried and said she wanted to bring the lantern home, but the lantern has to leave it there till the next day, for prize presentation & Mooncake festival celebration.
Thought of taking the 3 lanterns (1st, 2nd & 3rd prize) which was hanging up at the reception area but was paiseh to do so :P
--------------------oOo--------------------
Mummy: Today I saw more lanterns were being submitted as the whole classroom is hanged with lanterns! Saw 1 Barney lantern which is exactly the same as the one I bought for Chloe. Think the parents really can't be bothered/can't find time to make one so just buy 1 lantern off the shelf and paste their child's name onto the lantern. Guess today is really the deadline, I wonder what happen if we don't submit at all.
--------------------oOo--------------------
Mummy: As Daddy is on night shift on Mooncake Festival itself, we had to bring forward the celebration. Not really a celebration, just bring Chloe go downstairs with her lantern. Mil bought a dolphin lantern for her and a cinnamoroll lantern for Schuyler. We brought along the Barney lantern we bought for her earlier on.
When we arrived at the playground, none of the kids were holding onto a battery operated lantern. Most of them are holding on to candle lanterns, or playing with candles. Chloe's lantern seemed so "eye-catching" cos the music is so loud and not pleasant (it's some cheena melody). Anyway she only took the lantern for around 5 to 10mins and end up playing at the playground.

Not keen to take lantern anymore:

Having fun at playground:

Mummy: Need to bring the lantern for submission today! We happen to bump onto Xiaohui and her parents. We handed over our lanterns to Teacher Wu and realised we are the only ones submitting the lanterns. It won't be proud if we manage to get 1st prize since there's only 1 participants..haha :P
Teacher Wu and Teacher Julie were looking at Chloe's photos which were pasted on the lanterns. They said Chloe's looks had changed quite alot, which I don't really think so. :P
--------------------oOo--------------------
Mummy: Today Chloe had a "cookie" lesson. They applied nutella onto the cookie, stick M&Ms onto it and make them into a smiley face. Ohya, and 2 honeystars to make eyes. But I can't seem to tell that it's a face.
Pix of the cookie (Chloe can't wait to eat, I told her to let me snap a pix of it but she was too eager and had a bite):

Quickly had another bite when I snap the 1st pix:

Ummm....
--------------------oOo--------------------
Mummy: We have to submit it tomorrow. And we just started our last minute work on the lantern.
These are the extra things we need:
- a lantern "torch" with bulb
- stickers
- 4pcs of 2R photos
- double side tape
Daddy was in charge of making the structure of the lantern out. And I'm in charge of decorating the lantern. Chloe's involvement is really minimal, cos I scare she will make the lantern spoil. So I get her to paste stickers on the lanterns.
This is the completed lantern:

Mummy: Recently Chloe love to play with puzzle. She had a hard time playing with the puzzles initially, always give up and want me to finish up the puzzle for her. After few attempts, she finally get the hold of it. Anyway it's a 9pc puzzle, so it's not that difficult. :P
--------------------oOo--------------------
Mummy: Today is the day for Desmond to move into their new house. But they won't be staying there permanently until end Nov. They invited us to their house, I was quite bored cos nothing to do except taking care of Schuyler. Chloe was happily playing with Desmond's 3 kids and toys.
With 3 kids, I'm sure they have a lot of toys. They had 1 toyogo box just to put "cooking" toys. Cooking toys refers to things like food, utensils, cups, etc etc. Normally 1 cooking set only consists of 1 egg right? I found almost 10 eggs in the toyogo box. :|

Chloe had a lot of fun at their house and she finally cannot take it anymore and feel asleep at 7.30pm. She didn't take afternoon nap at all cos we went over to Desmond place at 1pm. When we reached home at night, Chloe said, "Tomorrow go Uncle house ok?" I replied her, "Sorry but I have to say NO cos tomorrow you need to go to school. Maybe we meet Uncle for dinner tomorrow."
--------------------oOo--------------------
Mummy: Received a note from school, asking us to make lantern together with our child. This is to promote parent-child bonding. Ohmy, make a lantern? My art and crafts skills have returned to my teacher years ago! Erm, there's a project theme for the lantern, for Chloe one will be "My Growing Body". There will be a Show-And-Tell session where each child will present his/her masterpiece in class and relate his/her experience in making their lantern. I don't think this will apply to Chloe as she is still too young to do presentation. :P Winning entries will be displayed at the School reception area. The winning entries will receive a present each.
Time to crack my brain!

Mummy: Few weeks back, I told Chloe I needed a shower cos my face is sticky (nian nian). She touched my face and said eee, nian nian. Today, I told Chloe I'm going for shower. She quickly come and touched my face and said, "Mama face no nian nian, no need shower." I was speechless.......

Mummy: Was watching TV while feeding Chloe with porridge. She suddenly mumbled something and I asked her what is she saying. She repeat herself and I was so shocked to hear that. She's saying "KNN". Yes, hubby do say those words at times, I believed she registered those words quite some time ago cos this week hubby is working night shift and she din really get to see hubby. My goodness! I quickly called hubby and told him about it, he was laughing and said how can it be. I said I asked Chloe to repeat herself a few times to verify. I scolded him and told him, it's really time for him to watch his words.
--------------------oOo--------------------
Mummy: Didn't manage to buy a suitable bag for Chloe, so for the time being just let Chloe use the old haversack we bought years back to put Chloe stuffs. Teacher Imah commented that Chloe looks like she's going for hiking. :P
--------------------oOo--------------------
Mummy: Chloe was bitten by Weicong again. Oh yes, it's not the first time. I saw the teethmarks and bruise on her left arm, can't help but to feel pain in my heart.

General well-being of me:
I have put on another 1kg this term and grown 3.3cm taller. Teacher Wu says I'm the tallest in our class. The credit should goes to the milk that I took. Mummy says I drank too much milk, 1 month drink 5 cans (900g). Is that alot?

Lead Teacher's Comments:

--------------------oOo--------------------
Mummy: Teacher Wu called me and asked if I change another brand of milk powder for Chloe cos Chloe didn't want to drink milk. Chloe tried to drink but then as usual want to vomit out. Teacher Wu said she didn't want to force Chloe to drink cos she scared Chloe will vomit out her lunch.
She will asked for milk, so I don't think she's trying to stop drinking milk. Is it the taste of the milk powder had change? Perhaps I should make a little bit of the milk and try drinking to see if it's sucky.
--------------------oOo--------------------
Mummy: Walk past the bookshop and Chloe spotted the Barney Lantern. It looks cute but the music sucks :P I didn't want to buy her a lantern so fast cos it will be spoilt before Mooncake Festival is here. End up, I still bought it for Chloe cos she said she like it. The auntie of the bookshop help us to pump the lantern and gave us free batteries. Halfway on the way home, Chloe is lazy to hold on to the lantern so I hooked it to the pram. Then Chloe gave the Barney Lantern a kiss and walked home.
--------------------oOo--------------------
Mummy: It's almost dinner time and Chloe requested milk from me. I had to give in to her cos she was crying when I said it's time to eat rice than milk. But after making the milk, she said it's not nice after a few mouths and refused to drink. I swear I didn't make mistake by scooping Schuyler's milk powder into her bottle. I also didn't add in some leftover milk from Schuyler to her bottle. She simply refused to drink and want to vomit out when I forced her to drink.
How come suddenly she don't like her own milk? She can finished 5 tins (900g) of milk every month. Now out of sudden she don't like. I really need to monitor and see if she really reject drinking milk most of the time or just this once or twice.
Think I might need to consider to change another brand of milk powder. Any suggestions?
